Websites and Tools

Trip Advisor

We use Trip Advisor extensively to research hotels, restaurants and day trips when planning our trips. Over the years it’s been invaluable.

Airbnb

Lately we’ve been booking apartments to stay in through Airbnb, particularly if we’re struggling to find a well reviewed hotel in a place we’re visiting. Although you do need to take care to properly vet your accommodation when booking, we haven’t been disappointed yet.

Booking.com

We use booking.com to find great deals on accommodation when travelling overseas.

Rome2rio

We use Rome2rio to find accommodation and transport when travelling overseas. It shows multiple ways to reach our destination, and we then choose the one we like the best.

Skyscanner

We use Skyscanner to find the cheapest flights to our destination

Beercrawl

If you’re a craft beer lover and you’re living in or travelling around Australia, check out Beercrawl to find out about your nearest craft beer breweries, pubs and industry events. We Australians love our beer, and Beercrawl is a great resource for finding the best places to enjoy it.

YourParkingSpace

Driving is one of the best ways to get around in many countries, especially in Europe. Checkout YourParkingSpace’s roundup of the top European destinations to drive in. Also check out their site which has a handy search tool for finding and booking parking spaces across the UK.

Loveholidays

Sometimes you just need to get away for a quick vacation, to unwind and destress. Loveholidays‘ City Breaks search helps you find the perfect destination for your weekend getaway or short break. They also offer four flexible payment options to help make your holiday more affordable.
